Dear Friends,

We arranged a special trip to Udhayagiri last week and had an exciting & breath taking views from the Top.

We are about 8 members started from the foothill Shiva temple Udhayagirinaathar at about 5.30 AM and walked, hiked, moved, rest, ate, climbed and atlast reached the flat surface at about 11.30AM where a Sastha temple was there which is worshiped by the local villagers only once ina ayear during the tamil month of Purattasi (September / October). and then we started cooking lunch where we stuck up with rain suddenly and with the help of small tent we managed to cook veg rice in the rain and then had a batrh ina a small falls where we can reach about half an hour of walk.

and after that we started climbing little bit higher to worship lord vishnu at about 5.30 PM and reached him at 6.30PM. it started to rain again.. when we reach the top excited. even though hundreds of clouds passing us we didn't feel that much of chillness and the worship we tented and spent that night over there where it rained about6 hours in the night. (It started pouring only on that day during the whole year_may be my luck :) ) yet, we enjoyed a lottttt..

I woke up at about 6 AM.. WOW .. No words to describe the view.. I missed lots of view due to mist and bad lighting.. but now sunrise, water flow due to night pour, clouds below us, villages and ponds in the village at about 1500 ft below... Mind blowing...... and then we went to a big falls where we handshaked with loads of clouds that pass by and a heavy rain again (its raining while bathing in falls) just imagine how it'll be...

after our brunch at about 11.00, we started to turn down and reached the foothills at about 3.30 PM...
